Fiesta of Flavors – A Mexican Culinary Experience
The Resort at Pedregal was recently transformed into a dream culinary event: A Fiesta of Flavors. The lucky guests of honor were the guests of the resort, hosted by General Manager Fernando Flores and Food & Beverage Director Isaac Novoa.
Executive Chef Gustavo Pinet drew inspiration from Mexican folklore to surprise and delight with some traditional elements at this colorful and delicious celebration. Special participation from guest chefs includes Juana Amaya Hernandez from Mi Tierra Linda in Oaxaca and Jose Antonio Salinas from Balcon del Zocalo in Mexico City.
Head Bartender David Hernandez partnered with Kevin Diedrich from Pacific Cocktail Heaven in San Francisco & Antonio Hernandez, CEO and Owner of Mezcal “Espiritu Lauro” to prepare traditional Mexican-inspired cocktails and give this night its special flavor. Kimberli Rogers from Silverado Vineyards was also in attendance.
Breakfast of Champions
We were also delighted to welcome guests to a special breakfast full of Mexican flavor at El Farallon. So much of the cuisine in Mexico is inspired by the sea, so the seaside setting was the perfect place for our guests to enjoy Mexican antojitos, handmade quesadillas, tamales, barbacoa, and many more traditional dishes.
