About the Chef:

Chef Michael Mina’s reputation certainly precedes him. Born in Cairo and raised in Washington state, Chef Mina brings a worldly, contemporary sensibility to every dish. His years of experience working with world-famous Executive Chef George Morrone at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles prepared him for a distinguished career, one that has seen him helm the ship at LA’s storied AQUA seafood restaurant, as well as his own eponymous empire of MINA locations. Along the way, he’s been recognized with several awards from the James Beard Foundation, as well as being recognized as “Chef of the Year” by both Gayot Restaurateur and Bon Appétit. Chef Mina has also written several best-selling cookbooks.
