A Letter from Fernando

I am thrilled to reconnect with you and share the many new enhancements we have been working on at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal over the last two years. We are honored to continue the Pedregal Legacy through the warmth and light of hospitality that you, our loyal guests, have enjoyed throughout the years. Throughout the pandemic we have supported our team members and are all eager to welcome you back. For the 6th consecutive year, we have been awarded the Forbes 5 Star Travel Guide Award for the resort and spa—a result of our commitment to the highest level of service for you. In addition, we recently received the Connie Award for having the highest guest satisfaction score for any hotel in the global Hilton family of brands. Together, this is highlighted by our enhanced butler service. When you stay in one of our Casitas, Villas, Private Homes, or beachfront suites, your experience will be elevated by bespoke service from our dedicated butlers whose sole mission is to create unforgettable memories for you and your loved ones.

As you arrive, guests are now greeted by the new Agave Study at Peacock Alley.  This sensory experience centers itself around the craftsmanship of agave spirits native to Mexico. Rooted in ancient tradition with an unbounded respect for the earth, the Agave Study invites guests to pay homage to Mexican purveyors while in an atmosphere that is both familiar and elevated. Fully immersed in multi-sensorial tastings that pair handmade agave spirits with local delicacies, guests will experience a new landmark at Los Cabos, Pedregal. Our resort’s Director of Bars and Agave Expert, David Hernandez, carefully selected the featured spirits, pottery, and glassware through his work with the Maestros of the distillation process in Oaxaca, MX, where deep cultural traditions of these classic spirits runs deep.

We have also expanded our commitment to regionally sourced products through the debut of NEUTRAL Coffee Laban elevated coffee experience. With varieties from the Sierra Madre del Sur in Oaxaca and mountains east of Guerrero regions, including a focus on local coffee communities, guests can experience the culture-rich traditions of learning the origins, methods, and people behind the beans. The goal is to bring intentional, well-made coffee culture to Los Cabos that is always evolving to stay relevant with current coffee trends.

Lastly, the re-design of Don Manuel’s provides guests with a deeper connection to the destination, an extensive wine collection developed by Wine Director, Jhonatan Adame Mejia, and the debut of TRAVESÍA at Su Cocina, a nine-course tasting menu. Acknowledging the popularity of Mexico’s beloved taco, TRAVESÍA celebrates the history, traditions, and rich ingredients that have developed the love for this iconic dish. Nestled at Su Cocina, this culinary tour de force welcomes guests to traverse through unique flavor profiles crafted and cultivated in Mexico. From the coastal fare of oysters and blue prawns, to farm-to-table favorites like lamb shank barbacoa and wagyu cheeks, patrons at TRAVESÍA are invited to use their taste buds to roam and discover Mexico’s distinct landscapes.  As its name denotes, the spirit of exploration is at the core of TRAVESÍA.

Thank you for your endless loyalty and support. My team and I invite you back to enjoy our newest enhancements and experience the unforgettable memories created at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. We remain at your service, please reach out to us should we be able to make your stay even more enjoyable.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
